to perform quality workmanship in all aspects of LAMs (liquid applied membranes).  And, we love what we do, each job to us is like a work of art, we truly enjoy the transformation that takes place on each job.

Our system, we have perfected our application system to ensure your newly coated roof will perform and outlast the issued warranty.

Our system in a nutshell, once a contract has been signed we perform the following steps.

1. Roof cleaning: 

We begin by removing any loose debris, leaves, branches, cables, rocks and pine needles. If there is a lot of small debris left, we will sweep the roof with a broom and remove the smaller particles. We then use a leaf blower to blow the remaining dust off your roof. 

After removing the debris off  your roof we use a 4,200 PSI pressure washer to clean your roof, and when we say clean, we mean clean. We pressure wash until the water is clear and re-rinse your roof. The final step is to remove any ponding water off your roof with either a broom or a leaf blower. The cleaning is a cruicial step. Proper cleaning provides the ultimate surface for adhesion, which is key with LAMs (liquid applied coatings) 

2. Repair/Patching: 

There may be small cracks, holes, bubbles or pieces of foam missing. We patch and repair, any areas too large for the coating to fill in. We use patch putty and/or a combination of patch putty and tie tex ( a polyester fabric ) to repair larger holes/cracks. Once the repairs are made we apply a single coat over them. We also double and triple coat all vent protrusions, scuppers, and skylight bases. 

3. Coating: 

Applying quality coating with a high solid content and the proper rate is key in a monolithic roof membrane. Consistency is key, and getting a uniform thickness only comes from experienced applicators. The longevity of the coating depends on the solid content and the final cured film thickness. We use a 100% acrylic resin based high solid elastomeric coating on our 5  and 10 year applications. The solid content on our 9800 is 70% by weight (+/- 2) Our 5 year warranty will yeild a 12-14 mil cured coating thickness and our 10 year will yield a 24-26 mil cured coating thickness (about as thick as a standard credit card) 

We do the job right, and we are always striving to do better. We typically apply about 10-15% more coating on each job than required, this gives both the customer and ourselves peace of mind knowing the job will outlast the specified warranty. This is your roof and it protects your home and valuables. We want you to be confident in us, your roofing contractor.
